About Us
Combined Saw and Knife is a proudly family owned and operated saw sharpening business, located in the northern suburbs of outer Brisbane.
Originally Stott’s Saws until mid 2001, CSK evolved when it was decided the company required an update and name change.
CSK’s part owner and highly experienced Head Saw Doctor, completed his apprenticeship in 1991 and has been working in the industry ever since.
CSK’s passion for quality work and excellent customer service has no doubt been a contributing factor to the rapid growth of the company.
In April 2008, due to rapid growth and the company’s expansion, the business relocated to its purpose built factory in Kabi Cct, Deception Bay. In November 2008, CSK purchased the sharpening division of Ravinvic Enterprises, enabling the company to offer Computerised Water Based High Speed Steel sharpening and re-toothing of blades.
In 2015, CSK made further investments in State of the Art German Technology by purchasing a new Lo Roch K850T, Oil based HSS Grinder. In addition, with the arrival of its new Goeckel G50T and the new Italian “Gulp” Surface Grinder in 2016, CSK is the leading sharpening specialist in TCT & HSS Guillotine Blade and Turn Over Knife “TOK” sharpening.

CSK currently has 2 qualified Saw Doctor’s and 2 additional assistants working hard servicing its client’s products, 3 delivery drivers ensuring clients products are collected and returned as quickly as possible and 2 administration staff tending to front of house, answering enquiries and dealing with all that paperwork!
